Green Heron

Green Heron – rare sighting, difficult shooting. I was hidden in cattail reeds enabling me to shoot while it preyed in the underbrush. It takes years to get shots like these as the Green Heron is notoriously skittish. I was actually positioned for the Great White across the water when this guy floated down and landed right in front of my “blind.” As usual, dumb luck.
